Roen, meaning “smoke signal,” is a dark avant-garde fashion brand founded in Tokyo in 2001 by legendary designer Hiromu Takahara. Blending Japanese craftsmanship with a deconstructed aesthetic, Roen creates clothing that expresses depth, individuality, and inner rebellion.

Its signature skull motif — a symbol of impermanence and strength — has become the brand’s visual core, resonating across art, fashion, and subcultures.
